Katherine Sadovnikov, NP

A University of Pennsylvania-trained, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a warm and thoughtful approach to mental health care.
Katherine Sadovnikov received her Bachelors in Nursing and Masters in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to her nursing career, she received her Bachelor in Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston College.
She is experienced treating clients with mental health concerns across the lifespan, from the pediatric to the geriatric population, in hospital-based and outpatient settings. Katherine believes that collaborating with her patients in their mental health care is the cornerstone of reaching successful outcomes. She takes a holistic approach to care for her patients and believes medication can be one of the many tools in improving mental health in addition to other lifestyle changes.
In her current practice, Katherine treats individuals suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder including panic disorder and OCD, PTSD, and ADHD, as well as those undergoing increased stress from life transitions, loss, or relationship stressors. She has a special interest in working with college-aged and young adults who are often navigating several challenging life transitions. She is currently receiving specialized training in reproductive mental health with Crystal Kim, PMHNP and treats individuals experiencing premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), undergoing fertility treatments, during pregnancy and the postpartum period. As part of her practice, Katherine offers both medication management and psychotherapy for more comprehensive and integrated care.
