Samantha Moffitt, NP

She/Her/Hers

A board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 8 years of experience in psychiatry treating a wide array of mental health concerns.

Samantha received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University and her Masters in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from Hunter College. Prior to her nursing career, she received her Bachelors in Psychology and Art History from Sarah Lawrence University.

Samantha is experienced in treating adults in various community-based settings with a range of mental health concerns. Prior to joining CK NP Psychiatry, Samantha treated individuals at a federally-funded, nonprofit mental health clinic in Midtown, Manhattan as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.

In her current practice, she treats individuals suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, including OCD and panic disorder, as well as ADHD. She also provides psychotherapy to improve coping strategies for individuals experiencing increased stress in their daily lives.

She believes in meeting individuals where they are, and offering evidence-based, holistic care. In treatment, she prioritizes creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals can heal, grow, and work towards becoming the best version of themselves.
